For the story of the final Bridgerton child, the book seemed to veer away from the usual formula. So much so, that you even found yourself wondering if things would work out in the end this time! I enjoyed the change and thought it was a great way to end the stories of all the children.

I had high hopes for this little novella and was honestly let down. My first thought was "that's it?" when it was over.

Graveyard shift follows a unique cast of characters who meet up nightly in the cemetery of the local abandoned church for a smoke break, when one night they discover a freshly dug grave. It had the potential to be really special if it went just a little further on some of the ideas it started toying around with (Insomnia, human studies gone wrong, etc), but it just didn't get there for me.

This was a quick, enjoyable romance book with an interesting cast of characters who helped make it special. This would be a great vacation read!

This was one of my favorites in the series! Hyacinth is such a fun character that isn't talked about nearly as much as Eloise (probably due to the show) and I enjoyed the storyline surrounding the journal and Lady Danbury that helped bring her and Gareth together in the end.

This book was slow to start for me but really picked up after the first quarter. It follows Violet, an affluent woman in the 1800s who longs of being more independent and pursuing art, rather than pursuing marriage like everyone expects. When she finds herself in an asylum, she does not remember the events that led to her being there.
Overall I enjoyed the book but there were a few things I hoped were going to play out differently based on the themes of women seeking to be independent often being viewed as crazy.
